    ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – BIOLOGY EDUCATION

    The Department of Integrative Biology at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Biology Education. We seek an individual who will participate in the department’s pursuit of excellence in post-secondary education through scholarly activity and practice.

    This individual will coordinate activities and curriculum among introductory courses and contribute to ongoing efforts to assess effectiveness of instruction. The selected applicant will be expected to secure external funding, which may be in areas of instructional transformation and undergraduate programs aimed at the success of students in STEM courses. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and a record of excellence in research and scholarship.

    The Department of Integrative Biology comprises 27 faculty, numerous active adjunct and emeritus members, 70 graduate students, and 1000 undergraduates majoring in biology, zoology, and physiology. The majority of these undergraduates are in pre-health or pre-veterinary options. Members of the department strive to broaden participation and promote a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
