About SABER BuddiesThe SABER Buddies Program is an optional program coordinated by the Mentoring Committee. The goals of the SABER Buddies program are to:
The SABER Meeting Buddies groups meet casually before, during, and after the SABER Annual Meeting to share tips about meeting others at SABER, discuss interesting talks or presentations at the meeting, and provide follow-up support and reflections. Getting Involved with the SABER Buddies ProgramIf you choose to participate in the 2024 SABER Buddies Program you will be assigned to a Buddies group. Each Buddies group consists of roughly six to 10 individuals (four to six buddies and two to three lead buddies who serve as guides). We need participants from both groups, so please sign up if interested. Fill out the form to sign up as a Lead Buddy or SABER Buddy. Please sign up by June 3rd, 2024 so we can match you up with some buddies for the 2024 SABER Annual Meeting: If you are not sure if you are attending in person or remotely, please wait to fill out the form until you know. If you missed the registration deadline, please email Clark Coffman ccoffman@iastate.edu or Angela Kaczowka akaczowka@arizona.edu to be added to a group.
