The Department of Molecular Cell Systems Biology at the Univ. of CA, Riverside is recruiting for an Assistant Professor in our Professor of Teaching ladder rank series.  The application link is attached below. The successful candidate would be involved in teaching in our department's Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology major and our Neuroscience major.  They would also help our department develop and improve the curriculum and functional operation of these majors, as well as develop a program of scholarship or research, potentially related to pedagogy or related topics.  They would be a full member of our Academic Senate and progress through merits and promotions leading to tenure and full professorship.  Importantly, our department has historically voted to extend full faculty voting privileges to faculty members in both the professor of teaching and research series-we are all equal citizens.  UCR is a URM serving institution and is effectively a living laboratory for the sorts of strategies we are considering in this LCC. UCR could be an interesting place to launch a career in this area.
