For teaching-focused workshops, potential products include a classroom activity or a new assessment strategy.

To ensure that workshops align with the goals/format of the SABER West meeting, it is also possible that the planning committee will contact you following submission with suggestions regarding means to maximize the effectiveness of your proposed workshop. To thank you for your time, workshop facilitators will receive one complimentary conference registration per group. Extended Pre-Conference Workshops - 3 hours to Full DayThe goals for the pre-conference workshops (January 16) are similar to those listed for the standard workshop above but will allow for more time to accomplish these goals. These Friday workshops will require a small attendee registration fee so that coffee/tea/lunch (as needed) can be provided. Those interested in facilitating a pre-conference workshop will discuss their ideas with the meeting organizers directly. Please contact Brian Sato (bsato@uci.edu) by August 29th if interested in facilitating one of these workshops.
