- GenAI in BER (ALP 1600) - Join us for an open discussion to identify our collective priorities for using generative AI in teaching, learning, and research—exploring areas like formative feedback, assessment generation, active learning, academic integrity, and professional development.
- New to SABER (ALP 1700) - If you are new to SABER West, bring your breakfast and meet some colleagues. Several experienced attendees will be present to answer questions about the conference and facilitate networking.
- Teaching-focused faculty (ALP 2100) - Come join a listening session for the new Teaching-Focused Faculty special interest group, where we’ll gather ideas and input from the community on how this new SIG can support its members and the SABER community.
- Physiologists (ALP 2200) - This SIG is for education researchers and educators interested in the teaching and learning of anatomy, physiology or anatomy and physiology.
- Biology through Art (ALP 2500) - Biology through Art is a collaborative network of biologists and artists that explores ways to integrate artwork and creative expression into biology courses.
