Hi Everyone,
I am from a 2-year institution (Midlands Technical College) and am a Co-PI on a grant we are putting together along with Columbia College in Columbia,SC. We are looking at providing full cost of attendance scholarships for high preforming, underrepresented, low-income students to start their higher education at a 2-year institution (Midlands Technical College) followed by complete funding and cohort admission to a 4-year institution (Columbia College) to complete their STEM program of study. In this we have a full spectrum of student support, internships, cohort relationship opportunities, etc to make students as successful as possible. What we need is someone to be a part of this with a research background specific to program evaluation and possibly in the 2-year to 4-year transfer process to help us fine tune "success" in a multi-institutional cohort program such as this. I am an educational researcher as well but my background is more in technology and informal learning. Therefore, any input we could get in the program assessment side of things would be great. If you are interested please do not hesitate to reach out to me personally at the attached email address (goffe@midlandstech.edu) Thank you in advance and all the best to the SABER team.
