The UW Department of Biology on the Seattle campus is excited to announce we are searching for 2 assistant teaching professors with experience/interest in using evidence-based, student centered practices to engage undergraduates in learning biology, broadly defined.  We are a large collaborative and integrative department that provides a supportive teaching environment, actively engages with faculty and students on topics of diversity and equity, and now is equipped with teaching laboratories and classrooms designed for active learning in the new Life Sciences Building.
