We have an open position for Academic Coordinator in the Department of Plant Biology at UC Davis (https://www-plb.ucdavis.edu/).

This position supports part of the introductory biology series at UC Davis and is mostly focused on the management and training of graduate teaching assistants. With an enrollment ranging between 720-960 students per quarter, the academic coordinator needs to be highly organized and student-focused.

These are fantastic positions to learn about high-enrollment courses, including their design and implementation. While not a teaching position, the academic coordinator typically teaches introductory biology in summer and there are opportunities for collaborative education research projects.

Minimum job requirement is a master's degree, and some experience with evolution, ecology, and organismal biology is a plus.

I am happy to answer any questions: jmledford@ucdavis.edu

The closing date is July 1, 2024 and the full advertisement is here: https://recruit.ucdavis.edu/JPF06497
