SABER is excited to introduce a Virtual Day as part of the 2026 Annual Meeting. This new, fully online day is designed to expand access, increase participation, and connect members who may not be able to attend in person.

Virtual Day will feature live, interactive programming and opportunities to engage with the SABER community from anywhere in the world.

Virtual Day participants are invited to submit abstracts to present their work in a variety of formats, including:

• Virtual long talks

• Virtual short talks

• Virtual posters

• Virtual roundtables

Presentation options are designed to support meaningful discussion and community engagement in an online setting. Full submission guidelines are available on the Abstracts page.

A preliminary Virtual Day schedule is available below. Please note that session timing will be finalized later, once we have a better understanding of the time zones of our presenters, to ensure broad accessibility across regions.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) interested in meeting during the Virtual Day lunch-time SIG meeting block are encouraged to reach out. Please contact emily@saberbio.org or conference@saberbio.org to coordinate scheduling.

Attendees may choose to register for Virtual Day only if they plan to participate exclusively online.

• Virtual-only registration includes access to all Virtual Day sessions and programming.

• In-person registration includes access to both the in-person meeting and Virtual Day programming.
