Membership Parameters 

Membership in SABER provides individuals with access to the Society’s programs, resources, and services, including:

• Eligibility to attend meetings, workshops, and webinars at member rates

• Eligibility to nominate award candidates and receive awards

• Access to newsletters and online resources

• Opportunities to participate in committees, working groups, and special initiatives

• Networking with peers in the field of biology education research

• Voting privileges
  

Terms of Membership

Membership is valid for one full term (typically one calendar year) starting from the date of purchase or renewal. Membership benefits are tied to this full term and cannot be prorated or extended beyond the purchased period.

Membership Cancellation & Refund Policy

Membership dues support the Society's ongoing work throughout the year, including programs, services, and administrative operations. Because these costs are incurred continuously and are not tied to a single event or date, membership dues are non-refundable once processed.

Memberships remain active for the full term selected at the time of purchase and cannot be canceled mid-term.

Exceptions may be considered only in cases of:

• Duplicate payment

• Processing error

• Other extenuating circumstances reported within 10 business days of the transaction

All exception requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Managing Director and Treasurer.
