Events are listed in the conference schedule. Speed Mentoring - Join as a Table Lead!We are excited to be running a speed mentoring program at the in-person SABER Annual Meeting and would love to have you involved as a table lead. The event will take place on Friday, July 10 from 5:20–6:30 PM. As a table lead, you would briefly introduce your area of expertise at the start of the program, then facilitate two 15-minute conversation rotations with small groups of attendees who sign up for your table. It is a low-lift, high-impact way to share what you know with people who are actively looking for guidance in your area. We are looking for table leads across a range of topics — anything you have expertise in that other SABER attendees might benefit from hearing about. Some examples include navigating the academic job market in BER, postdoc opportunities, survey development, qualitative analytic methods, and critical theories, but we welcome any topic you think would resonate with this community. If you are interested, please reach out to Ariel Chasen at achasen@utexas.edu with your proposed topic. We look forward to hearing what ideas our community comes up with!
