Biology Course Development Specialist (4163U) - #58261

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Biology Course Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the mentorship of Dr. Robert J. Full and in coordination with the Discovery curriculum team of faculty, staff and postdocs to support the Discovery for All: Empowering Inclusive Communities in Integrative Biology initiative. The candidate will contribute to catalyzing curricular and instructional change in biology through training workshops and individual coaching, with an emphasis on enhancing discovery-based learning at all stages of our undergraduate program in biology. The Biology Course Development Specialist will also be responsible for coordinating and conducting assessments of biology education initiatives, with a specific focus on inclusive pedagogy and the transformation of biology classes to discovery-based learning. The ideal candidate will possess creativity in curriculum development, strong quantitative and/or qualitative research skills, excellent presentation skills, have experience in coding interviews, and demonstrate a deep understanding of inclusive pedagogy in science education.
